Angel’s Envy Distillery was created with the concept of a family distillery. It started as a one-bottle brand in 2011. It was designed by Lincoln Henderson. who was a former Brown-Forman master and creator of the Woodford Reserve. Henderson shares his 40 years of experience as a legend in the bourbon industry. He has worked on a variety of bourbon ideas that are reflected in his bourbon quality. After his death in 2013, his son Wes took over the company.

This company wanted to break out of the traditional bourbon whiskey and create a whiskey of its own standard. But in this case they have to face strong obstacles in the beginning. The idea was to make bourbon in port casks instead of American oak casks. But the Scotch enthusiasts did not find it suitable. Later his different whiskeys won over fans and this wonderful bourbon was born.

Testing Notes:

Nose: Caramel candy apple with a mix of toasted oak and a wonderful nose of almond and cinnamon.

Palate: Bold peppery and vanilla blend with cinnamon notes. On the other hand, an incomparable plate made with a mixture of ripe apples, toffee, and butterscotch.

Finish: A long finish that transforms the whiskey from spicy to sweet. It uses brown sugar, apples, and oak.
