Macallan Anecdotes of Ages is a limited edition series of single malt Scotch whiskies released by The Macallan Distillery. The series is a collaboration between The Macallan and the renowned artist Sir Peter Blake. Each bottle in the Anecdotes of Ages series features a unique artwork by Sir Peter Blake inspired by his interpretation of The Macallan’s history, heritage, and the whisky-making process.

95 of the Macallan Estate’s 370 acres grow Minstrel Barley (2.5 tons per acre, 1,800 bottles). Also, the distillery contracts with farmers to buy low-nitrogen and starch barley, resulting in rich and oily whiskey.

The collaboration is The Macallan’s third with the iconic artist and is part of a relationship that has spanned almost four decades. This rare single malt whisky honors Sir Peter Blake’s visit to the Macallan Estate on the River Spey.
