Glenfiddich Grande Couronne 26 Year Scotch Whiskey 750ml

Glenfiddich Grande Couronne whiskey is made using grains carefully blended at the distillery. After the grain is malted, Glenfiddich Grande Couronne 26-Year-Old Single Malt Scotch Whiskey captivates many minds with notes of French patisserie. It is partially germinated and gently dried over a peat kiln, giving it a slightly smoky, malty profile. At that point, the malted grain is squashed and aged over time before being refined twice through cast copper stills in Oban’s lamps. It is then released to the market for inspection.

Oban Distillers Edition Single Malt Whiskey is matured in oak casks for an extended period. Amongst these excellences rest, the whiskey is brought into contact with its conditions and geology, the warm, salty seas and gulf streams, and Oban’s soft, gentle atmosphere is taken to reflect in the whisky. After its intrinsic development, the whiskey is double-aged or finished in ex-Montilla Fino Sherry barrels. Sherry casks are marketed as dried organic produce, mainly fruit, and strawberries, which incorporate whiskey notes and complement their light, peaty smokiness.

On the nose, freshly baked tarte tatin and buttery choux pastry ribbons. The inviting palate offers a sweet and elegant finish of toasted oak, brown sugar, café crème, and soft spices, leading to an extended finish with sweet oak notes.
